Customer Support

Phase Technology customer support is always just a click away – 24/7. The fastest and best way to contact us to ask a question or report a problem is via our computerized incident tracking system.

When you email us at customer_service@phase-technology.com, your message is entered directly into our fully automated incident tracking system, capturing data so that we have quick, easy access to details about your inquiry. You receive an instant acknowledgement with a tracking number for future reference. A Phase Technology technician will then respond to you directly within 1 business day.

Depending on the nature of your problem, we can also provide remote troubleshooting assistance with our Dial-In Remote Diagnostics. We connect to your equipment for fast, efficient troubleshooting. If we are unable to resolve the problem, a service technician will issue a returned materials authorization (RMA) number and details about shipping the analyzer back to us.


Repair Services

We realize that parts can wear out over time or unexpected problems can happen. In the event that a repair may be necessary, contact Phase Technology for a returned materials authorization (RMA) number and a cost estimate.

When we receive your instrument, we make every effort to repair your analyzer as quickly as possible. After an incoming assessment, we will provide a service estimate for your approval. We then perform the necessary repairs, fully re-calibrate your analyzer (if necessary), and conduct a final check and gate review before shipping back to you.

Should you need a service rental analyzer in the meantime, we are happy to make the necessary arrangements to ensure that your lab remains up and running.


PhaseCare Post Warranty Extended Service Plans

Phase Technology offers service plans to help our customers protect their analyzer investment as well as provide them with peace of mind. Customers who take advantage of these programs benefit from instruments that are better maintained and have a longer life span.

Our PhaseCare service plan solutions are cost-effective programs designed to eliminate unforeseen, emergency repair expense and minimize unexpected downtime. In addition to our standard service and support plans, we can customize a plan to fit your company's individual needs.

Preventive Maintenance

To keep your analyzer running at peak performance, Phase Technology recommends a regularly scheduled, routine maintenance and operation inspection performed by one of our technicians.

With Preventive Maintenance, a Phase Technology trained technician comes to your lab facility, avoiding the need to return your analyzer to our factory. Nothing could be faster, easier or more painless!

Preventive Maintenance Service also verifies and recertifies the calibration of your analyzer to confirm that it is in compliance and performing within specification

Preventive maintenance is a great way for you to add an additional safeguard against unexpected down-time and associated costs while ensuring optimum instrument performance and maximizing your lab and production up-time.

Remote Recertification Service

Calibration and certification provides you with assurance that your analyzer is reliable and performing within specification. Phase Technology offers a Remote Recertification Service for your 70X Analyzer to take the guesswork out of your test results.

With our Remote Recertification Service, you can:

  • Affirm that your analyzer meets and complies with ASTM International standards measuring pour, cloud and freeze point: ASTM D5949, ASTM D5773 and ASTM D5972
  • Update the Certificate of Calibration for your analyzer to confirm your analyzer is performing within specification
  • Establish credibility with customers and regulatory bodies that released product meets specified requirements
  • Ensure readings from your analyzer are consistent with other measurements

Remote Recertification Service


On Site Services

On-Site Services include custom installation, training, repair and recommended maintenance.

Our team of field service technicians are available to install your new online or lab analyzer to ensure that it is set up and functioning properly. Where possible, we'll also make “house calls” to your location for on-site repair if the problem can be fixed in the field.


Reference Materials

Your laboratory plays a crucial role in the quality management of released product. Phase Technology Reference Materials are a vital tool for routine quality assurance and verification of pour, cloud and freeze point test results. Run these Reference Materials on a regular basis to ensure the accuracy and reliability of your Phase Technology analyzer.

Phase Technology Reference Materials are available in diesel, jet fuel, oils and lubes. Each comes with a Certificate of Analysis detailing the actual tested results and the average values derived from independent international interlaboratory and intracompany studies. An allowable range of acceptability provides the tolerance level when verifying accuracy of the test result.

Phase Technology Reference Materials


Phase Technology Authorized Service Center

In some areas, our customers are able to send their analyzers to a Phase Technology Authorized Service Center instead of shipping them to our factory in Canada. These regional service facilities reduce shipping and transit time and can simplify customs and logistical procedures.

Phase Technology Authorized Service Centers have a dedicated team of technicians, fully trained and certified by Phase Technology. The Phase Technology Authorized Service Centers provide technical support and perform both in- and out-of-warranty repairs.

Additionally, Phase Technology Authorized Service Centers offer PhaseCare service plans. These comprehensive service plans cover full maintenance, repair, calibration service and technical support.


Phase Technology Technician Training Programs

Phase Technology Technician Training programs give analyzer operators a comprehensive understanding of cold flow property testing, correct operation of analyzer instruments, and long-term maintenance procedures.

Participants receive first-hand training from Phase Technology scientists and senior staff so that they know how to properly operate equipment.

User Information Bulletins

Our customer service team keeps customers informed of new and enhanced features, functionality, routine maintenance procedures and operating tips with User Information Bulletins. If you encounter a particular problem or have a question, we can refer you to further information as needed.


Lab Supplies and Consumables

To ensure that your analyzer is properly operated and maintained, we recommend supplies and consumables that have been specifically designed to be used on Phase Technology test instruments. This includes cotton swabs, pipettes, screen protectors, desiccant and DrySac.

Warranty

Phase Technology warrants its analyzers against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. For full warranty terms, please contact us.
