Customer Service Technician

Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot customer issues via telephone, email and other means.
  • Repair customer units according to departmental standards.
  • Document all repair and support issues according to departmental standards.
  • Create and assist in review of application notes and other technical documentation.
  • Assist in onsite installation and training as required.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting electronic circuits.
  • Positive attitude and strong team player.
  • Technical Diploma (BCIT) or equivalent. Requirement may be waived for individuals with relevant job experience.

Production Assembly Technician

Job Responsibilities:

  • Module assembly & integration of electronic test instruments.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must have previous electronics assembly experience.
  • Superior mechanical aptitude.
  • Good soldering skills.
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Quality-driven and customer-focused.

Research Scientist(s)

Engineer(s)

Phase Technology seeks creative and resourceful people to join our team to conduct scientific research, data and statistical analysis; innovate new techniques; improve existing design; and develop new applications.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • University degree in any of the following: mechanical, electrical or computer engineering (majoring in numerical algorithm design and implementation); mathematics (majoring in statistics); applied physics, physical chemistry, or a related field (e.g. chemical engineering).
  • Post-graduate or relevant industrial experiences are assets.
  • Strong aptitude and working knowledge in the following areas: multivariate statistical testing, classification and pattern recognition, and unsupervised machine learning.
  • Experimental and theoretical understanding (e.g. Navier-Stokes equations) of two-phase viscous flow, surface tension and crystallization kinetics is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and instrument design, CAD, and computer programming languages such as C or C++ are assets.
  • Familiarity with experimental design (DOE) is an asset.
  • Demonstrated independent research and project leadership.
  • Motivated and self-starting, able to work independently or in groups.
  • Ability to explore and grow into multi-disciplinary science areas.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
