For
any online analyzer to function properly, it
must have a continuous flow of clean and dry
sample. To many refineries, this represents a
constant challenge. Existing sample
conditioning units frequently plug up with
solids. Maintenance cost increases as does
analyzer downtime. The resulting cost to the
refinery in labor, filter expenses and
out-of-control processes is very high.
Phase Technology is proud to introduce Aquanot®,
a virtually maintenance-free sample
conditioning system. It is the only one in
the industry that is truly intelligent and
universal. By providing a consistently clean
and dry sample to your online analyzers,
Aquanot®
can maximize the return on your analyzer
investment.
Other swirl type devices may remove free water
but fail miserably when fine solids are
present in the raw sample. They tend to plug
quickly which results in frequent filter
changes. This plugging decreases the flow of
clean sample to the analyzer. Aquanot's®
patented membrane anti-clogging feature
provides a back flushing force that dislodges
trapped particles and flushes them to waste.
The result is a continuous supply of clean and
dry sample to the analyzer for months without
maintenance to the sample conditioning system.
Wide Range of Applications
Aquanot®
sample conditioning system is suitable
for most online analyzer applications
including GC, RVP and sulfur. It can be
configured or customized to handle pulsed or
continuous sample flow applications in most
hazardous locations. For non-sheltered
environments, Aquanot®
can be weather-proofed. Contact Phase
Technology to discuss your requirements.
